COLLEGE CLUB CALENDAR CHALLENGE      

We are off and running toward our best calendar sales yet.  This year’s goal is the selling of 1000 calendars.  Who are your potential buyers?  They are your neighbors, friends, relatives - anyone who is active in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood communities. Year-long activities are highlighted each month to keep you up to date.

   Look for the “Sneaker Challenge Board” at our monthly general meetings to see how we are progressing.

 CLOTHING DRIVE                                               

Our second clothing drive was held on Saturday, Oct. 22^nd.  A tremendous thank you to all those who helped us collect about 475 bags!!! 

Additional thanks to all those who spread the word, hung up fliers or e-mailed friends to save clothing for us and then brought it over on Saturday.  Thank you to the crew that assisted on pick-up day to count bags, assist in unloading people's cars and load the truck. 

A big thank you also goes to the husbands and sons that assisted us.  Many hands did indeed make the work light!

We collected 5,685 lbs. of clothing which generated $752.63 plus $100.00 bonus to give us a grand total of $852.63!  Again, thank you to everyone
